This coffee originates from FAZENDA SANTA CECILIA, a single estate owned by Pedro Veloso and his family. Pedro Veloso is a third-generation coffee producer from Carmo do Paranaiba, Cerrado region in Minas Gerais. The family has been cultivating coffee in this exceptional area for more than 160 years.
The coffee is of the Acaia/Catuai variety and is cultivated at an altitude ranging from 1,050 to 1,200 meters above sea level. The farm spans across 1,270 hectares, with 70% of the land dedicated to coffee cultivation. The remaining area consists of protected forests and reservoirs. The coffee undergoes a rinsing process, and fertilizers are applied through the irrigation system.
Mr. Pedro Veloso has devoted his entire life to the coffee industry and is deeply committed to producing coffee of the highest quality while maintaining good yields. He resides on the farm and starts his mornings by visiting the farms, overseeing the harvesting and processing operations. Later in the day, he heads to the trading room in Carmo, where he handles calls from customers abroad.
Veloso Santa Cecilia is the result of a meticulous selection of sun-dried beans, resulting in a smooth, creamy, and full-bodied cup of coffee.
